Taghavi is double junior world champion at 60kg and Iran sent him to 66kg due to bad results of other wrestlers !

2005 World: Masoud Vahedi beat Baek Jin-Kuk and lost to Barzakov and Tushishvili
2006 World: Masoud Jokar lost to Spridonov in 1st round
2007 World: Hassan Tahmasebi lost to Hovhannisyan in 1st round
2008 Asian: Hamid Mohammadnejad lost to Ikematsu in 1st round

but Tahmasebi won 2007 asian title and i think Iran will send him to Warsaw (if necessary)

man there are so many good wrestlers still unqualified. Taghavi is prety good, he just might be undersized at 66. I recall him taking a round of mavlet batirov once. Prety good for his age.

lol. all but 2 are in the bottom bracket. With the current follow the leader system and only the finalists and bronze medalists qualifying, we will be seeing most of these guys at the next qualifier.
