Let the unsubstantiated hype continue!
JB looked awesome. I give some credit to Goudarzis defense, but it's pretty easy to have good defense if you aren't looking to shoot. Those tap/fakes were amazing. What a guy.

Go Hawkeyes.
Awesome!!!!
Way to go Burroughs! Great match against a great opponent.
Very cool that Dziedzik got to give Burroughs his nedal in the 66k ceremony.
Burroughs won beating Iran's Goudarzi 1-0, 1-0 to give TEAM U.S. its first wrestling gold medal! Burroughs beat Tsargush of Russia in the semifinals on Friday, then got past Goudarzi in a rematch of their world-championship bout in 2011. Jersey boy Burroughs, (where they dont pump gas they pump their fists), has won 38 straight freestyle matches since graduating from Nebraska (home of the illegal fist to the back).
Also Matt Gentry of Stanford fell in his Bronze medal match & settled for 5th. I am sure he is disappointed about not getting a medal but still a good showing.
Congrats JB!! Awesome way to walk the talk. Now I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the US wrestlers and Gadisov.
So...how does Burroughs do against a prime B. Saitiev with these rules?
