At 84kg, ganev(2010 world champ) and abdusalamov(08 silver medalist) are on the same side of the bracket does that mean one of those two will 100% not be at the olympics or are wildcards given?

no chance for wild card for Bulgaria and Tajikistan, Only 3 wild cards are available in wrestling and these wild cards probably go to weak countries.

Why cuban's wrestlers miss last Olympic tourn at Helsinki? They don't have Olympic licenses in FS 55, 74, 120 kg.

I saw that 84 kg matchup too. Brutal. Abdusalomov hasn't really done anything since the Olympic silver and Ganev's results are all over the place. Wouldn't shock me if neither of them qualified, to be honest.

The two Canadian guys Pineda and Adamson (who posts here sometimes, I think) have as good a draw as can reasonably be expected.

From Aze 55 kilo is Makhmud Magamedov failed his semifinale. Not bad wrestler from Dagestan (Russia). In this year he had training camp only Aze and thus worsened his wrestling. But I think he'll get wild card from FILA as a Euro champ.
