Just read on John Sachs' facebook page that Ruiz went 0-2 and failed to qualify his weight.
Bunch won in triple clinches for 3rd place.
Both Canadian guys failed to qualify- Adamson had a couple of wins. Our greco team did not attend.
Bulgaria has two world champs at 84 kg- one in each style- and both are still not qualified.
I noticed that Russia sent some lesser known wrestlers at 66 and 120 kg greco. The 66 guy didn't make it through, not sure about the heavyweight. Maybe they want their best guy rested for the final shot? I'm hoping for Albiev at 66.
Because I have been awake for over 30hrs, coupled with my general laziness, I default to you, arm-spin. In overall international results, do Canadians do better in FS&Greco or is it the US guys?
There are exceptions but the top Americans as a whole do better than the top Canadians in freestyle. In Canada we don't wrestle much greco, so no comparision there.
While I'm sure I could find this answer myself if I went and looked, are there any more chances for us to qualify 96 Greco? I know that we were going to have I believe two opportunities to get the freestyle weight in, just curious if its the same with Greco.
Kudos to Bunch for getting the job done.

Isn't Guri 96? I was thinking of Marinov.
Yes, you are 100% correct. 1st day back wrestling live for me, must have had a brain fart from being tired!
