Re: World Team expectations for Mens Freestyle Team USA as I see it
No I meant just all the people that will be in the draw. Really the draw is just dato, aldatov, goudarzi, saritov, sokhiev, which is half of the amount of top guys that could be in it.

Saritov can definitely beat Aldatov, they wrestled a very close match at Yarygin (I think) and Saritov is probably better today than he was then. Also, Aldatov is pretty inconsistent for a world-class wrestler.

Not to mention his crazy ankle laces.

He was more consistent at 74, but even then he would have some wierd matches, like when he pinned himself 2 years in a row at the European championships.

My picks exactly. I like Teyon but that 66 field is ridiculous....

Could & will are obviously different. I don't think Saritov medals. Nope.

If you win Russian Nationals you're a strong medal threat - if Saritov doesn't medal it will be because of the draw and because this is a wide open class. I'm not particularly confident in anyone medaling especially with excellent wrestlers like Sokhiev turning in awful performances recently.
