maybe I'm wrong but I don't think he can win the title again. of course he has a chance, everybody (from Russia) has a chance. I think all of them (except for 60 and 120) can win the gold. I never underestimate Russian wrestlers, no never, I said Totrov because 96kg is now relatively easy.

also I have to say Bekhan Mankiev has a good chance but Roman Amoyan is #1 IMO, (of course with the absence of Sourian)

Sourian won't wrestle this year, he left the national team a month ago, Coach Banna thinks he needs a long rest. that was his request too.
He is not injured , he is just tired of Wrestling. He will be back for London 2012.

dude, they are both suspended after that doping story. they are now training with the team (as far as I know) and there is a hope for them (at least one of them) to get only 1 year ban instead of 2. If it happens they can wrestle in London 2012.

Rezaei is a former world bronze medalist, he was a big hope for gold medal in Beijing, but he was unlucky in first round and lost just because of luck. (his opponent didn't get any technical point)
after that, AliAkbari came and he disappeared. this year he was supposed to wrestle for Azerbaijan !!! after getting Tahmasebi, Azeris offered him and Masoud Hashemzadeh, He even wrestled in Azerbaijan national championships and won the gold.

He is a very good defensive wrestler, but his problem is he barely can score. He can beat anyone in the world, but also he can lose to anyone . I think Luck is a very important factor for him.

I think Iran has a very good chance in 60, 66, 74 and 84. I hope for at least 2 gold in Greco this year.

Ramazan Saritov - he is brother of Albert. This year he moved to Turkey competing there under a new family name - Pehlivanoglu.

I understand that the Turks demand that you choose a Turkish name when you immigrate, but this is like renaming yourself John Wrestlerman, right?

Hmmm...

Ok tell me this Nematpour has been Iran's greco man in the recent past bu at the worlds they are sending Jomeh Akhlagh, who is he and is he good? He must be pretty good to beat Nematpour out of his place.

I can;t see any results for him in any international comps.
