    Default Effort Throws

Anyone know what the criteria is, exactly, for scoring a freestyle/greco "effort throw" point?

A pretty chintzy point given in this one to decide the European title. For those in the know: correct call or not?

Anyone? I posted this on the "miscellaneous" forum with no response. The 84 kg freestyle final of the Europeans, with all its other strange officiating decisions, also featured a questionable effort throw IMO in the third period.

i think an official will award 1 if the thrower takes the thrown over his body and displaces him from one place to another.
