Tervel is a big boy and can stand up for himself just fine without JD standing up for him.(I would think)

How is bringing Iowas coaches collegiate match conduct relevant or appropriate to bring up during the US Open?

Iowa is probably the best team that has coaches that are that animated in the corner, but they are far from the only coaching staff who get a little heated in the corner.

he always has check out his post worlds 2010 after losing to amiri, He was almost pinned and still thought he should have won. Its either on flo or usa wrestling youtube. He clearly needs to wrestle tigiev as well to find out what rough housing is.

Then why bring it up? I agree it had nothing to do with the task at hand. Steve Mocco "punching" someone in a freestyle match after college has what to do with Iowa coaching college folkstyle?

He's not saying what they do in the corners is good or bad...

The way I see what he's saying is that they're able to do what they do in the corner and officials think "oh that's just Tom and Terry being Tom and Terry, they're not being unsportsmanlike or trying to show us up, that's just how they are" then he's extending that line of thinking to what went down in the heavyweight match (which I didn't see). The official thinks "oh that's just Mocco being Mocco, he's not lashing out or attempting to injure Dlagnev he's just being a tough guy."
