No, it wasn't him. Totrov won Poddubny tourney last month but it was his opponent in the final who beat Khushtov in the semis. As far I know, Totrov has never beaten Khushtov. He isn't a young guy, a newcomer but he is often 2nd or 3rd (well sometimes he also wins ) so he isn't internationally known. I have watched several good matches of him, for instance beating Nozadze some 2 years ago when Nozadze was still good. He is a clever wrestler. Like today vs. Ghorbani. He didn't let him to perform his throw for a second time.

ghorbani should've won it in straight periods got turned sloppily in the first and there were some shady stuff in the 3rd period, 84 they let slip as well but a big finish at the end, can't wait for freestyle in a month.

In the second period, 3:0. It was actually a pin but the referees didn't call it. They gave 2 for the gut wrench + 1 for "near pin".

I watched the 2 videos and I only now noticed Ibrahim Cicioglu's (one of the few referees having the highest, olympic rank) way of refereeing. He must have been bribered by the Russians. He is on facebook. Ask him! In the 84 kg match, he was the chair. The referee on the mat gave Nematpour a point for the gut wrench. Cicioglu didn't accept this and wanted a review - see at 4:36. In the next match, 96, he was on the mat. Notice that he was warning only Ghorbani for not taking a correct parterre position.

Another point: Now I am so sure that the time expered before Nematpour's gut wrench in the 3rd period. At the very end, the broadcast director switched from the camera showing the action to a camera showing the Russian wrestling functionaries (Mamiashvili and others) energically gesticulating. This means that before the switch, the director had already seen them on his monitors doing so and had decided to show this as an interesting, emotional issue. And this means - they must have began to gesticulate (calling to stop the action) at least a second or two earlier when the time was definitely not over.
