Draws are out for tomorrow.

74 KG Greco has been an absolute cluster of a weight recently, Cebi and Manuchar are on the top side of the bracket tomorrow.

Madsen doesn't appear to be in the bracket at all.

Fisher is down on the bottom, he's got Christophe Guenot in the first round. The only other guy in the bottom part that I know is Balcsi the Hungarian and he's in the same quarter with Fisher and Guenot.

Unsurprisingly I'm not really familiar with the Women. I'll still post results for the US girls and probably for Sakamoto and Stadnik down at 48, and Sofia Mattson at 51 since those are the more name wrestlers.

Who wants to bet that some guy we've never even heard of wins 74 kg tomorrow? That seems, Olympics aside, to be what happens at this weight lately. Cebi vs Manachur should be a good one though, both guys are active on their feet.

Fisher goes down to Guenot in his first match, while Lampe is pinned by the Polish wrestler.

Medina won her first.

Manuchar lost to the Croatian in the Round of 16.

Medina goes down to a Polish wrestler as well. Sofia Mattson actually lost at 51 kilos to the Japanese wrestler.

Sakamoto rolls over Hyunh to make the semi's at 48 kilos. Guenot goes down to the Kazak wrestler, thereby eliminating Jake Fisher.

Cebi wins.

Sakamoto and Horiuchi both beat the Polish wrestlers that beat Lampe and Medina which eliminates both of them.

I'll try to do PBP for the medal matches, at least for greco and Carol's match.

74 kg Russia vs Azerbayjan
period 1- nothing standing. Par terre, Russia on bottom, false starts several times. Azerbayjan can't score, Russia wins first period.
period 2- Azeri has front head lock but can't score. Russia starts on top, lifts and back suplex! Akward landing as Azeri grabbed his legs. After review, 4-0 Russia. Russia wins the first bronze, and probably the team title.

74 kg Japan vs KGZ
period 1- KGZ body lock throw! only 1 pt for some reason. Japan chasing him now, KGZ warned. KGZ starts on top, tries to lift but can't. KGZ wins first period.
period 2- Japan chases KGZ around the mat but no score. Japan on top, KGZ stands up immediately. Some intense hand fighting, but Japan can't score and KGZ wins the second bronze.

Finals Armenia vs Turkey
period 1- nothing standing, Turkey on top. Has a tight high-gut but can't score, Armenia wins first period.
period 2- Cebi digging hard for underhooks, tries a throw and then a duck under but Armenia is content to block him off. Armenia on top, tires to lift but slips underneat on the out of bounds. Turkey wins second period, going to a third with no offensive points scored.
period 3- Cebi pushing hard to win. Beautiful shuck by, wild scramble but no points given. Not sure about that call. Cebi starts on bottom, Armenia lifts him way up but can't turn him and he slips back down. Tries again but slips off. Cebi is your world champion! One of the more exciting matches with no offensive points scored, too bad that this had to come down to basically a coin toss.
. Cebi's coach runs onto the mat and Cebi lateral drops him- pretty hard too
