I have never seen Gable wrestle before. But watching this video confirms a long held opinion of mine; that wrestlers from the past are not even close to the standard of wrestlers today.

The notion that Americans espouse of Gable potentially being the greatest wrestler of all time seems unrealistic to me purely because of the era he wrestled.
