Thread: Conference Week Results/NCAA Qualifiers

    Default Conference Week Results/NCAA Qualifiers

With conference week closing out yesterday we have our NCAA qualifiers.

Unlike last year where the week was highlighted by my epic choke job the top 4 wound up staying the same.

Gofer's strategy of not caring how bad his team was during the regular season paid off as he won the week and snagged a wild card despite finishing 12th in the overall standings.

Wiltz followed him up in second for the week to get the other one with a quiet but overall consistent performance highlighted by Matt McDonough's 31 points which lead all scorers.

    Conferences
    1. Gofer: 219
    2. Wiltz: 216

Sometimes its better to be lucky then good but 3 years out of 4 I must be doing something right. That being said I only have one original member on my team, Colt Sponseller!

First year I haven't made the tourney.

Beat by trusty in our head to head year.
Crushed by LoSt and Payton the next two.
Edged out by Wiltz in conference week this year.

Well done to all. I felt like I made some good moves, but just not enough.

Good luck to all in the finals.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

    J,
I re-added my score and still came up with 182-just curious as to where my mistake was. Thanks.

It looks like your mistake was whomever you started at 125 and 149... Just kidding.

2 #1 seeds-Morrison and Gillespie-Morrison had his knee drained Friday night and I thought a defending AA could beat a 16-16 guy from Pitt. Gillespie lost 2 matches and Morrison lost his first one then Med Def'd out of the tournament. 182 gives me 1500 points , which was the minimum point total I'd hoped for.
