I really wanted to keep Clayton, the son of a good friend of mine (ask how many guys in this league have tried to trade for him too) but this deal was too good. Jack is heads above the hawkeye.

Clayton Jack is a decent HW, but he's not head and shoulders above almost anyone, including Blake Rasing, a guy I've declared myself isn't very good. Meanwhile, Hochstrasser majored Kubec earlier this year.

While this trade would undoubtedly look better on paper if Mojo were coughing up Dom Bradley instead of Jack, looking a little deeper it seems pretty obvious that there are no nefarious motives behind this given that the best guy in the trade is being sent from the 7th place team to the 12th place team.
