Supplemental Draft
Remind me of the rules on this again and the date of the draft? I know last year we did it during the Christmas break and I believe it went five rounds?
My understanding also was that it went from worst to first.
Also, you could only throw guys back who:
1) were injured and out for the year.
2) had lost there starting spot
3) became academically ineligible
4) redshirted
5) had not currently wrestled a match.
I didn't think you could throw back perfectly good starting wrestlers.

I think you have it twisted a bit.
3 rounds. You have the option to draft up to 3 times. You do not have to use each pick. I only drafted twice last year I believe (dropped Bencivenga & Mendoza and picked up Eric Kruger & Justin Herbert). If I wanted to drop Metcalf, I would be able to under league rules.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

He does...
You can toss back whoever you want. As many as three, or if you're satisfied with your team you don't have to toss back anyone.

Me? Twisted?
Got it. Three rounds sounds familiar. I am sure with the position I was in last year it was one of the reasons that I stated above for why I drafted in the supplemental so maybe that's why I remember it that way.

Re: Supplemental Draft
Speaking of the Supplemental with Vegas, the PSU Open, and Reno still to go it'll be interesting to see if someone will step up and establish themselves as the definitive guy to get ala Kellen Russell last year.
I've got six guys written down that I'll look for, we'll see what changes here in these next 3 weeks.

Re: Supplemental Draft
Yeah, the supplemental made it a whole new season for some. I actually think its more important potentially then the original draft as you can really shed some dead weight and fix some holes.
I was telling Trusty when Rader comes back in January that it will feel like a high draft pick. I have had a pretty big hole at 141 without him and at 174 where I have had Cannon who doesn't even start wrestling until now.
I have written down some names as the season has gone along of some guys who have done well in tournaments that I assumed hadn't been drafted. When I cross-referenced it with the draft I found that some had been drafted but not used (Quentin Wright).
Anyway, should be an interesting supplemental draft.

Re: Supplemental Draft
Some guys really helped themselves out in the draft last year. I don't have the time to do the hardwork but how many of these guys that were drafted made the NCAA's and who had the highest finish? Re: Supplemental Draft
Moley was the only AA. Russell, Stewart, and Wise were all Round of 12.
