Think this will make it more difficult for Payton to get trades this season? I didn't realize he had such an unbelievable team.

Seven AA's and four champs is gonna be very tough to duplicate but the man sure knows his college wrestling.

I got 9 AA's last year, one champ (Varner), three 2nds (Long, Palmer, Pami), one 3rd (Rey), one 4th (Amuchastegui), one 5th (Blanton), one 7th (B. Novachkov), and one 8th (Keddy).

Of course, I didn't even qualify for NCAA's, so I suck...

I don't think my trade was straight up Ness OR Zabriskie for Ciasulli. That would be a little obtuse of me. Tehre were other factors involved but Dart's point is solid. Dance with the girl you came with. If not, go hit on the Homecoming Queen. Go big or go home!

In this case, Ciasulli was clearly the Homecoming Queen.

The trade was Askren for Ciasulli straight up.

All I remember about the Ness deal was it was for some pupu platter involving Mike Grey.

On 12/21 Goph posted a trade -
Zabriskie and Triggas for Craig and Birchler , the earlier trade was Askren and Grey for Craig and Ness-I ended up trading Asken to MOJO-if most of my trades went through last year I'd have finished last.

Let's just ponder that for a moment...Seth Ciasuli...for...Max Askren. Say it out loud, you might even giggle half way through.


How can you possibly selll that trade(with a good conscious)? Even worse, how can you possibly buy it?

It was Seth and a draft pick and Gopher had advertised Askren for a week

How did THAT get approved? LOL! Lets remember, at the time Askren had wrestled like 4 matches and was sitting out left and right with back problems and had a pretty crummy schedule. That being said, I say again? How did THAT trade get approved?

I believe that I picked up Everhart with my first draft pick in the supplmental from that trade...which still doesn't help my cause too much.
