Keeper Rule Alteration for 2011/2012: Prospect Keeper Option

As we're starting to progress in the draft, I want to get this up so that people have time to consider picks that they make. Next year (unless someone strenuously objects) we're going to change up our keeper rules a little bit.

Next year if you keep someone that you draft in Rounds 1-10 then the keeper rule will function as it always has, that person will count as your first round pick and you'll have to sacrifice a little draft position.

However should you choose to keep someone that you drafted in Rounds 11-15 you'll be able to keep that person in the round that you drafted them in.

I don't dislike that idea but what if you changed it so that it was that round plus one or two. So if I take a guy in the 14th then he is my 12th or 13 pick?

I'd be amenable to doing it like that.

I wouldnt hate on a +2 penalty. If you draft an AA in round 14 getting him in roud 12 is still a damn solid deal
