Gold is an idiot.
Buck, Gadsen is not finalist material. He MIGHT have been if he had not had the injuries. He's frail. It's too bad too. I was really looking forward to watching him wrestle in college.

Might be time to make a roster move....
Even with the win over Habat, Santos' fantasy value is very very small. It was a one point win early in the season--not really definitive. And Santos' schedule is bad--he literally has a month off in December. He might win the EIWA, but he might not. His probability of being an AA is the same as about 20 other guys at that weight, but he doesn't get much bonus and doesn't have many matches period. I'll take Habat over Santos on my fantasy team, despite this single loss.
Gold,
I'm picking Daniel Young to win the EIWA-he has wins over Tessari and Tao and lost 7-10 to DePalma and 2-5 to Lester.
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.
Gambucci Garners ACC Wrestler of the Week
Tuesday 02/26/2013 - Duke Sports Information
DURHAM, N.C. - Redshirt sophomore Brandon Gambucci was named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Wrestler of the Week for the second time in his Blue Devil career, as announced Tuesday by the conference office. Wrestling at 133 pounds, Gambucci recorded three dual match wins and played a key role in the team's first conference win of the season Feb. 20 at N.C. State.
In the Blue Devils' final ACC dual, Gambucci upended NC State's Sam Speno, ranked 24th in the latest NCAA Coaches' Panel rankings by a 5-0 score. First-year head coach Glen Lanham picked up his first conference victory and just the program's third win over the Wolfpack since 1975.
Gambucci collected his 16th and 17th wins of the season this past weekend at the NWCA Duals Festival in Philadelphia, Pa. The Mansfield, Ohio native cruised past Franklin & Marshall's Robert Ruiz in a 20-6 major decision and had little trouble versus Cody Wheeler of Lock Haven with a 9-2 decision. Gambucci, ranked 27th in the NCAA coaches rankings, is 17-4 overall this season and 12-3 in duals for the Blue Devils.
Duke returns to the mats again at ACC Championships, March 9 in College Park, Md.

BRUTUS BUCKEYE WILL TAKE YOU DOWN...
He got chosen by default because most of the ACC didn't wrestle. He beat absolutely nobody. Rd 12 was still way too early no matter how many ACC wrestler of the week honors he garners. 17-5 this year.
Other Rd 12 selections: I took Cody Brewer. Buck took Kyven Gadson, Zanetti was taken, Kyle Bradley, Johny Greisheimer, Zach Thommusseit. I got Santos in the 13th.
It wasn't the worst pick probably, but it wasn't even close to being the best of that round.
Go Hawkeyes.
