So, I used a little bit of a different philosophy this year. Since it's no fun sitting on the sidelines during the tournament even though you obviously have the best team in the league, I decided to draft some guys from other places besides Iowa that have favorable schedules but are obviously not as tough as the Iowa backups. Though I did end up with six guys that have ties to the state...BUT NO SUCKLOWNS!

Due to unforseen circumstances I did not have time to do any predraft studying so a HUGE thank you to Gold and Thaxton and anyone else that put together the schedule tool and the googledocs spreadsheets. I would've been up a creek without them. Also, thanks VA and Gold for keeping the draft going. And Thanks to anyone else that helped with things that I do not know about. This is a very fun thing to do and without all of you future losers running the show we wouldnt do it. Gracias.

I ended up with wrestlers from ten different teams and only one whos starting position is 50/50 in Burak but I drafted him last. I drafted one guy who's name I cannot pronounce, three guys I don't care for, and Valenti just so VA wouldn't get a decent 49lber. Plus, I never even had one sideways thought about Kr during the draft...I think I really showed some growth from last season.


Here's what I'm hoping my lineup ends up looking like at the end of the season. If it does...I will win.
