Nice trade for Gold.

I think it's a good trade for both of us since kr has assured a pretty good shot at making the playoffs. Vallimont is a good AA candidate.

I just look at the points trade off. Co Co in an easy weight, could be a conf champ(i think he's better than Lee) He has a significantly better shot at AAing than Vall who has looked lackluster at best, is in a brutal weight in a brutal conference where he's probably 4th(maybe 5th depending on valls headlock defense).

I had a bunch of options. I was put into this situation as Schlatter dropped to 57 & I had NO 65. Sometimes you just throw paint n the wall & see what sticks. This one stuck. It's not what I wanted as Vais is correct on all those points but it was either that or have NO 65 this week. I could have done worse.

I did have a 2 for 2 deal going with Gage where I would have given up Schlatter for Howe but we couldn't agree on the 2nd half of the trade.

If Cael can get Adam Lynch beating THREE ranked opponents in a row then maybe he can help Vallimont start getting off the bottom better. All of Dan's losses have been close except Howe & Winston. He did finish 3rd @ the NCAAs his Sophomore year. He is capable of AAing. His last 4 B10 matches of the year are against lesser opponents. The toughest part of the schedule is behind him.
