Cornell has an assistant opening now. Hope they pursue Perry.

He would be great to bring Lewnes to the next level.

I thought Perry was going to wrestle freestyle for some reason... am I wrong?

One of the few ways to compete "full time" in Fresstyle is to become an assistant coach at a DI school. You are hired to train and train with the team, unfortunately the focus has to be on Folkstyle, especially during the season.
And you wonder why the US has disappointing results at the world level.

Lewnes is an extremely good wrestler on his feet(except for ncaa's this year, hah) with subpar riding/pinning. If Perry worked with him, it could really make him first rate, and more of a force than he already is.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I just think their hands were tied, Cael had no room for Perry as he is bringing in a full staff. He'll catch on somewhere else, seemed to do well in his first year of coaching...

Cornell would be a great spot for Perry.
