At 149, the most anticipated of weight classes at Nationals, Bubba had no place on the same mat as Metcalfe. Granted he had an early lead but I don't think anyone watching thought it would last. I was disappointed Metcalfe didn't get a shot at Caldwell to put him in his place as well.

I disagree. Jenkins had a GREAT tournament and deserved that opportunity, which he won with outstanding performances at the tourney. Its true that no one at that weight was in quite the same league as Metcalf at the end of this season. But if Caldwell improves as much for next year as he did for this year, he'll be in that highest league as well. I look forward to a Caldwell rematch too.

I agree with you on that. Nobody gets a free pass to the finals. I thought it was the best finals of the tournament.
