Thread: Way too early thoughts about line ups for next year.

Default Way too early thoughts about line ups for next year.

I thought it might be fun to get people's thoughts about some different teams, and what their line ups might look like next year. I will try to post something about a different team somewhat regularly. I certainly don't mean to offend anybody, so I apologize ahead of time if I leave your team off the list. To mix things up a bit how about we start with a team we don't really ever talk about. They had a very solid recruiting class in 2013; a feat they could not duplicate in 2014. Any thoughts on Pitt?

    125 ?
    133 ?
141 Edgar Bright (lost to Retherford 3-2 and 3-0, lost to Carter 6-1 in ACC finals, only freshman in ACC to go undefeated in dual meets)
149 Mike Racciato (pinned Josh Kindig and James English, made it to the finals in ACC tournament)
    157 ?
    165 possibly Wiercioch?
    174 Wilps (returning All-American)
    184 Thomusseit (returning All-American)
197 Bonaccorsi (returning round of 12) or Soloman?
    285 ?

    Any comments?

Cody Wiercioch was dominant in HS. We'll see if he can be effective in the college ranks. I think they'll be a solid squad with the names mentioned.

Hoping for bigger things from my alma mater this year.
    Lehigh's lineup:
    125 - D. Cruz
    133 - Beckman / R. Cruz
    141 - Gardner / R. Cruz
    149 - Gardner / Minotti
    157 - Minotti / Haas / Hess
    165 - Haas / Hess
    174 - Riddick
    184 - Brown
    197 - Diekel / Bolich
    HWT - Wessel / Vollaro

There should be a little Zanetta in there somewhere, right?
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Who do you have the highest hopes for? The three that stand out most to me, without knowing much at all about Lehigh, are Beckman, Minotti, and Riddick.

Yes. He's listed at 133 on the roster.

Add D. Cruz who finished 7th as a true frosh after losing to Mega in the 1st round

Any interest out there in Virginia Tech? They have a few young guys who were highly thought of coming out of high school to go along with a couple of wrestlers who did quite well this year. Any thoughts on what their line up may be like? It looks like they have the potential to be very solid in 6 of the first 7 weights.

125 Dance (returning all-american who placed 4th, ACC Freshman of the year)
    133 Norstrem (top 20 recruit in 2013)
141 Carter (any chance he can beat Stieber?)
    149 Chisko (top 10 recruit in 2014)
157 Brascetta (redshirted this year, all-american previous year)
    165 ?
174 Epperly (nice recruit in 2013 who redshirted this year)
    184 ?
    197 ?
    285 ?

I thought this past season was Carter's senior season.
