Now that Caldwell from NC State has pinned Metcalf, should a Caldwell vs. Schlatter matchup be the next dream matchup??? Will they even meet this season before the NCAA's???

Bad style match-up for Caldwell. Schlatter doesn't put himself in that kind of jeopardy to get pinned like that. I could see that as a safe 4-0 type match.... over and over again.

Caldwell sure is fun to watch though!

Both teams will be at the Southern Scuffle at UNC-G Dec 29-30.

Anything's possible when Caldwell is on the mat. He always goes balls to the wall.

I'll tell you this Darrion Caldwell will force Dustin to wrestle hard and give it every thing that Dustin has in his own arsenal. Caldwell will attack Schlatter over and over again and with Darrions strenght and quickness Dustin will have no choice but to wage war. Dustin will not be able to lay back and counter. He will have to attack in order to nullify Caldwells offense. It's a great matchup Dustins incredible Defense vs Darrions high flying offense! It should be a doozy!

I honestly could see dustin getting taken down by some kind of trip or throw and maybe even giving up his first back points in like 10 years, but I dont think it happens, and even if it does schlatter will come back and end up on top.

Caldwell is too agressive and unpolished IMO dustin will eat him for lunch as thats the kind of style Dustin does best against (remember that esposito match from two years ago? Caldwell is known for those same kind of not-so-wise throw attempts)

I'll be excited to see Dustin wrestle Caldwell should they meet up at the Scuffle. I hope Caldwell gets after him, he'll be one of the few people who actually will.

I obviously think Schlatter beats him some reshots, maybe a duck, and depending on how Caldwell is on bottom, some backs.

Schlatter might not even make the finals this year. His 3:2 squeakers will get to him eventually.
