    Default Binghamton Open

Trackwrestling seems to be posting brackets, but I can't the the dashboard thing to go. So, going into the finals, there are some matchups/results (admittedly with a PSU slant)

125 Megaludis v Garrett - Great match up for an early tourney. I'm sure the NCAA would make them wrestle last.

133 Conaway v Grey - another PSU/Cornell final. Yes, Conaway BEAT Gulibon in the semifinals.

141 Z Retherford v Switzer - Another PSU kid in the finals. Switzer (Lehigh) beat Ashnault along the way

149 Cisneros v Villalonga - an all Cornell Final. Cisneros beat English,

157 Taffur (Boston) v Vollrath - I first heard of Taffur because of the NWCA. He is having a busy early season

165 Taylor v Eifort - PSU/Cornell again. Taylor went pin, pin, pin,tf Eifert beat Jake Kemerer to make the final

174 Brown v Scott- Mybe I should list when it is not a PSU/Cornell final.

184 Ruth v Dean - Ruth has switched lives with Dave Taylor - he has TF all four matches.

    197 McIntosh v Bennett

HWT Lawson v Smith (Rutgers) Smith beat Gingrich 2-1, Gingrich made the consi final by beating Ruggear. Looks like a good tournament to get a feel for who starts for PSU.

FYI, it is 7pm on a Sunday and they are just getting to the finals

Garrett 6-5 over Megaludis. Damn I wish I could watch these!

In another HWT twist, Lawson's finals match is against is the kid who beat Gingrich. We get to compare them against 2 guys.

Does this mean we'll see Conaway in the starting line-up for Penn State at 133?

Both had medical issues over the summer. I'm not sure they are both fully ready for competition.
