Oddly, I am leaving out Brown in that list even though he made the final. He's kind of an unusual case in wrestling style for an elite level guy (but we'll see how that evolves with another year).
In a pecking order I'd have Ethen behind Howe, Storley, Perry and probably Brown, but I think he can beat any of those guys in the same way he beat Steinhaus. He may not be as good as those guys but hes tactical and holds position well enough to steal one from any of those guys. I've always thought that Ethen was technically superior to Evans, though that may not be a popular statement.

It's not guaranteed that Gulibon can beat Conaway out, but Conaway's small size will make it tough. I also think I've heard that Frey is too big for 141. If he could have made it this year I think he would have challenged Pearsall for the 141 job. I agree with your Hwt assessment.
I'm saying 0% chance Conaway beats out Gulibon. 133 was simply horrible from about 9-20. He is tough, but Jimmy's on another level.

You're probably right. Certainly Gulibon's credentials coming out of HS were far superior and he looked good in his RS year. But Conaway is a consistently improving wrestler and with a year of tough varsity matches under his belt, he won't be a walkover for JG.

Not a bad lineup, losing Mangum, and Hanke will hurt (but not at NCAAs) but Roberts or Delgado should fill in nicely at 141.

    125 Boyd/McGhee/Johnson ???
    133 Manley
    141 Jauch/DeAngelo/maybe even Wiest
    149 Houdashelt
    157 Bradley
    165 Johnston/Gagliano
    174 Toal
    184 Eblen
    197 Miklus
    Hwt Mellon

AA potential from Houdashelt/Bradley/Toal/Eblen/Miklus/Mellon. A rebuilding year, for sure.
