I agree, Vais. If he wrestles as well as he did against McLure and Chalfant he will clearly be in it. His one bad loss (Dalia from Lehigh) was his first match and he looks to have improved since then. But, sooner or later he's going to lose one of these close B1G matches. Maybe Medberry's the one. Medberry has the only other win over McLure.

This seems like a lot of talk about a dual that isn't going to amount to too much by way of excitement; Wisconsin is going to get shelled with maybe two wins tops.

I actually think that the UNI/Oklahoma dual holds more promise of having good matches than this one does. Yes, Oklahoma will spank UNI, but there will be some well contested matches in that dual.

very true yet when a match is going to be 8-2 -9-1 you kinda hope someone pulls out a win for wiscy. And Ban is correct as well . UNI and Oklahoma will have several good matchups133,141,149,157,184 and 285 could go either way. i include 141 if maple sleeps on Lazor.
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

I'm hoping that Lazor can get Maple in his position where he does his damage. It will definitely show us how good Maple is.

Ban & Russ--I agree with you that the PSU-Wisc dual isn't the hottest match-up. As DC said, things have been a bit slow on TWT. Why don't one of you start a new thread on the OU-UNI dual? I'm not the most informed on that one, but I promise I'll write something. Actually the biggest match-up this weekend to my understanding is Minn-Ill. Don't know that we have any Illini fans on this board, but a Minn fan ought to start a thread for that.

That's typically the credo of nearly everyone on TWT, don't let lack of knowledge impact your ability to post as if you are knowledgeable.

That should go into the site's FAQ section.

Most thought the same thing when Wisconsin wrestled Nebraska and Michigan. I think/hope the young Badgers will wrestle well tonight. They have no answer for Penn States big guns, but I think Jackson Hein might surprise tonight. What I've seen from the Badgers to date is that they aren't flashy, but they seem to be getting the most out of their talent. Big test of that talent tonight and Sunday!

Medberry assures Penn State doesn't get another shut out as he beats Gingrich.
