I will wait until details emerge but if this is just a drunk fight between kids then so be it. Now if the female was injured due to either of them hitting her then I will feel differently about this. But until the facts come out I don't think harsh punishment is needed. It's not like college kids are perfect and certainly fighting isn't the worst thing they could be doing.

Re: Alton boys to test Cael's zero tolerance policy I obviously understand what zero tolerance means, but we all know if an University actually had a zero tolerance policy they wouldn't be able to field a competitive team. Like I said if they were drunk and got in a fight I don't think that calls for harsh punishment being their 1st infraction. Now like I also said if a female was involved I would say harsh punishment is needed.
Re: Alton boys to test Cael's zero tolerance policy My take on it is this. State Penn has had very bad press and their institution is forever tarnished for what happened. ANY athlete of any sport must be on high alert if you are competing for that school. Now, do I think that a drunken fight is that big of a deal. No. But, thats not the point. As rpayton said above. zero tolerance means zero tolerance. Now, I dont know about the State Penn policy, but does zero tolerance mean kicking them off the team? Or does zero tolerance mean sitting out 2 duals, etc.....? That will be answered here very shortly im sure.
My opinion, these guys will be wrestling this year and in March. I mean, first of all, State Penn brought in AL at one point to win a title. They want to win at all costs, thats for sure, and without the Alton boys they wont do that. Pretty cut and dry in my opinion.
