And when he lost his title his senior year, he acted with complete class.
I used to have a negative view of Hendricks because I perceived him as very cocky and I really didn't like that NCAA finals win over Churella (I guess my anger should have been directed at the ref). But I have to agree, re-watching his finals loss to Perry, he really did handle that with class--at least by his facial expression congratulating Perry afterwards. That had to have been a bitter loss for him.

Espically considering Mark Perry Jr. is the biggest Benedict Arnold in Stillwater, Oklahoma

That's not what Iowa fans think--more of a Lafayette!

Clearly battling Hendricks for 3 years to start made more sense.

Re: Johny Hendrick
First he left Stillwater High School to go to Blair Academy, abandoning the good Oklahoma folk who raised him for the bright lights of the big city (figuratively). Then he chooses not to go to the school that his father, his mother, his uncles, and his mother had all gone to and instead picked our arch rival knowing full well he was providing them with the means to help beat the school of his kin. Then he had to go and beat Johny in the national finals and we will never forgive him for that one haha.
