My thinking was "who the hell purposely picks down against Dake" not thinking anything other than Dakes body of work piss pounding people from the top. Just my gut...

To speak to my own stubbornness in the heat of battle, the only thing that I do competitively today is play in some golf tournaments in Iowa over the summer.

I'm the kind of idiot, due to my stubbornness, that thinks that he can pull off this shot.

DT picked down against Dake at the all-star meet, and I will be surprised if he doesn't do it again when they meet at the Scuffle. I don't think Dake can ride DT for 2 min.

He was down 2-1 when he had choice, how do you figure he needed "a lot more?". Its quite possible you watched neither of these matches.

My brother and I absolutely cracked up laughing when Frank chose bottom, and everyone sitting around me was freaking out. Thats not hindisght, that was the moment, and ill never forget it.

Did you watch the Scuffle match? Did you see how close he was to a td, on multiple occassions and how his pace wore Dake out? Different officials may have hit him for stalling. This has nothing to do with hindisght and everything to do with using logic.

The actual reality is he isnt as good as Dake and short of a baseball bat Frank might never beat Dake. However, neutral gives him a much better shot than bottom. Theres no argument you could make to the contrary.

I'll take the Tank in neutral against Dake 100 out of 100 times. Much, much better chance of taking D down than escaping. I understand neither is high probability, but come on.

That was after a relatively light first period. Taking down in the 3rd period would be even more of a head scratcher. With Taylor's offense, you take neutral I think.
