Muscle is denser than fat. It doesn't weigh more. A pound of muscle and a pound of fat weigh the same. Anatomical details aside though I still don't see the point of your apparent argument that Nelson needs to get bigger given that he was an All American as a freshman when he was even smaller and then an NCAA champion last year assumedly at the same weight.

Since Cole Konrad graduated in 07 the guys who have wrestled in the finals at heavyweight include Fox, Bergman, Ellis, Dudziak, Rosholt, Zabriskie, Rey, Flores, and Nelson. Of those 9 guys only two of them were in the "260'ish" range that you apparently desire.
