Moderately explosive start in his debut at 125, I'd say.
Nick Dardanes opens up his second year in a row with an upset loss, Vaith with a double leg wins it at the buzzer 6-4
9-3 Gophers after three matches.

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.
good win for Vaith![]()

What was the score at the time of the fall? Description has Bonnano in deep on a shot and Thorn countering him to his back for a fall at the buzzer, so not sure what to make of it overall. I think we all know Thorn is talented, the test will be how he looks later in matches after a decent sized cut.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
One, two, Evans is coming for you...
Dardanes gassed hard, thats why he lost to Vaith. Couldn't muster the energy to fight off a fairly routine double
Gold is an idiot.
Say what you want about the "cutting" process but I've always thought the first cut to my weight was the hardest mentally and physically. I didn't find it to be as much of a problem the rest of the year as I stayed much closer to my weight from there-in. If Thorn looks decent now, and I give him a HELL of alot of making that cut for himself and for the team, then I think he'll be okay.

Storley with a nice cheap excessive crossfacing at the end of the match that his opponent didn't approve of
