Wish you'd been around during the draft !! How's the Achilles ?

I was probably expressing my doubt before the draft about Colon actually going 125, but he still could in the end. As for Loder, that is a very new development. It sounds like, at this point, that he is as likely to go 197 as he is 184, which suggests to me that he will go 197. He's gotten a lot bigger.

The Achilles comes and goes. When it hurts, it hurts like hell, and always hurts when I run. I've cut back on the running, and am planning on just running the event next weekend (my first 10k, so i can't miss it) and taking a month or so off from running to get in back to health. I'll have to do other types of cardio during that time, which I HATE!

Yes, that will be one option, as well as an elliptical and other cardio workouts that I can do.

I had forgotten how bad an achilles injury is, but the dull ache of it is excruciating!

I have him on my roster and would prefer to see what he can do again at 133. I think the pull to 125 will be detrimental to his performance.

And, that's one big reason why I don't think that he's going 125. I heard it directly from his and his mom's mouth last year that 125 was a, "no way," followed by a laugh.

My second reason why I think it won't happen is simply because of how tough it would be for him to maintain 125, even though he'd really only have to do it for a little over two months, but it would still be tough.

If I was a betting man (which the folks over at themat.com know me to be ), I'd be betting on him challenging Wolfensperger for 133, and 125 being given to a true freshman (I know, for a fact, that Dylan Peters will not be that 125 pounder this year, though). In high school, Colon went 1-1 against Wolfensperger, with each beating one another for one of their state titles.
