Check this out Falcon
Eddie Klimara (Providence Catholic, Ill.), a two-time state champion and four-time state finalist, recently returned from visits to Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech, but ultimately decided he wanted to be a Cowboy and wrestle for John Smith.

Eddie Klimara
"There were a lot of reasons I liked Oklahoma State, but I'd have to say it was because of all the kids down there," said Klimara, who became the last Class of 2012 wrestler in the InterMat Top 100 to commit to a college. "I knew most of them and got along with them well, and the coaches were awesome. But overall just the whole atmosphere down there ... wrestling and school was amazing."
This past January Klimara become the 12th four-time Catholic League champion in Illinois. He was also a four-time Dvorak champion. Klimara claimed a Junior National freestyle title in 2010.
This kid might have solved Va Tech's 125 problem yet chose OSU-you think he has a shot at starting at 125 next year ? I look for Morrison to move up to 133 .
This kid might make a good 15th round pick in fantasy.

If Morrison does bumb up then I think he is a far better choice then Crutchmer. However John always wants his freshmen to redshirt and only throws them in the starting role when the starter they have is doing terrible. Scott, Morgan, Kindig.... those were the exceptions even Jordan Oliver had to redshirt and he could've come in and started.

Re: Check this out Falcon
OSU had another 125 pounder that held the spot for a bit at the beginning of the season. What's his name and is he still in the picture?

Rupp ? I think he was a Sr. last year.

No Rupp is the same age as Morrison. I thought Rupp could still make 125 but I have heard he is getting too big for the weight too. Hard to believe considering the guy is a little shorter then me.

Round of 12
Re: Check this out Falcon
According to J. Carl Guymon, Morrison will be back at 125. Rupp will compete with Tyler Dorrell for 133.
Not really a fan of this. Morrison only approached effectiveness last season with at least the two hour weigh in. I doubt that gets any better this year.
I think Klimara would at least reach Morrison's level of effectiveness at 125. Morrison has beaten Rupp and Dorrell out two years now. I think he would be the best option at 133, and hopefully not cutting so hard would improve his performance.
Still very skeptical of Kindig's potential at 149 as well, but then I'm skeptical of every other option at that weight.

Re: Check this out Falcon
From a fan's view I'd rather see Kindig lose 12-10 than watch Parks win 2-1 over an unranked guy .

Round of 12
Re: Check this out Falcon
As an OSU fan I would like for the R12 and earlier to not be a blood bath at nationals yet again.

Re: Check this out Falcon
With OSU going to the scuffle that should help multiple day weigh ins .
