I'm not sure about Ervin, but I have no problem with JPO starting the season off above Metcalf and Buhhhhhhhhba. His 5th place finish last year as a true freshman should be enough to get him that, especially with Metcalf not competing, and Buhhhhhhhhba having a rather sub par season up at 157.

Couldn't we just start wrestling the 149 pound class today?

Ervin's also a R12 guy and he eliminated Storniolo last year and actually split with Palmer during the season. People sleep on him too much because of the school he's at and then there's the always fun Metcalf love fest.

Ervin's deserved to be where he is in the preseason.

Didn't Ervin beat Metcalf when Metcalf was redshirting, or am I crazy?

gg, I'm right with you, let the 149'ers start battling it out now.

Even though I'm a Metcalf guy and predict him to win the title, no way he should be ranked higher than Churella, Palmer and JPO.
After all, pre season rankings are based on the previous year. Give ol' Metcalf a month or so and he'll be right where he should be.
