Iowa State wants Angel as a senior level wrestler (so I heard), so he can't coach at Indiana and be a senior level wrestler at Iowa State!

Re: JOED gone .
But he's Ohio RTC. Why leave a better training and coaching situation to wrestle?? Ryak Finch?

Re: JOED gone .
Did you not hear, we have Troy Nickerson now!!! Also with Meeks, Bauer, McCauley, Moreno - the talent level in the room got a lot better than it was when Iowa State was trying to get him a year ago. Also he didn't have a very good Olympic Trials (went 0-2, I believe), so maybe try something different. Also I heard this 6 weeks ago.

Esco has had injury issues much of his career, and I believe that's why he struggled at the Trials.
Nickerson isn't training on the senior level and he was never elite there anywhere. Esco would be training with Humphrey, Bunch, Stieber all of which are better Freestyle partners than anyone you named. Plus KJ can't even coach his college wrestlers, how well could he do with senior level guys? Jim Humphrey and Lou Roselli are phenomenal freestyle coaches. If Angel is ever going to be elite on the senior level he will need an elite training situation, something ISU(currently) does not offer.
The only reason he'd go is if he could get more money somehow(imo)

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Re: JOED gone .
Looks like he got an better offer from now cash rich Princeton wrestling and Purdue wouldn't / couldn't match it. Princeton offers a sweet deal for employee housing with a discounted mortgage rate which is a bit under 2% interest right now. He can live 25 minutes away in PA where housing costs about half that of NJ.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Actually he was let go by IU. Seems he ''inadvertently'' broke some NCAA rule.

Esco has interviewed for a grad asst. position @ Purdue . i think he is done at the OTC . We'll see what happens . Esco wants to work out with Fleeger, also, Alex Tshirt has been approached to be a volunteer coach. Would be a huge Coup for Purdue to land Jason.
