Eligibility of Athletes
There are restrictions/prohibitions on athletic recruitment, scholarships or other aid, off-season practices - I think these are usually the ones involved from the NJSIAA standpoint (I'm mostly surmising).

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Boarding schools in Ohio participate in Prep Nationals? Up until this year Western Reserve Academy in Hudson participated in Prep Nationals. Unfortunately they dropped Wrestling this year.
Quinn - You give Ohio a bad rap. Everyone knows Blair participates in Prep Nationals and not the state series in NJ. The NJ newspapers act like they don't exist.

Re: Confused
Thanks for asking quinn, I know more now than I did before you asked. I just never cared about blair when they weren't competing against an ohio school, so never would have known that either.

Re: Confused
In VA private schools have their own championship. Its a pretty crappy tournament, i wish they competed with private Schools.

Re: Confused
I personally apologize to everyone on this board for not knowing the private school rules for each and every state in the nation. I am so ashamed. How can I go on?
Upon reading about how things are done in New Jersey and for Prep Nationals, I am disappointed in both. Campolattano's 4 state championships don't really mean as much as I thought since the best team in the state isn't allowed to compete. Blair's 30 or so consecutive Prep National titles don't mean as much since schools like Apple Valley and St. Ed's aren't allowed to enter.
I have the same disappointed feeling I had when I first discovered that Frampton used a voice box to say "Do you feel like I do" and he wasn't making his guitar talk.
