Default 2009 Cliff Keen National Duals Results/Discussion (Brackets Posted)

Its that time again. This is always a fun tournament, see lots of great match ups and it does a lot to tell us about what things may or may not look like over the second half of the year.

    I will be there.

Teams there are below, rankings are based on the most recent Intermat poll.

    Teams

    #1 Iowa
    #2 Iowa State
    #3t Cornell
    #3t Nebraska
    #5 Missouri
    #6 Ohio State
    #7 Minnesota
    #10 Wisconsin
    #14 Boise State
    #15 Michigan
    #16 Penn State
    #18 Indiana
    #20 Northwestern
    #22 Northern Iowa
    UR Buffalo
    UR Wyoming

I assume seeds should be out sometime on Wednesday.

Would really help Fantasy if they were out, um...today.

Going to be a crazy week with National Duals and Virginia Duals. That will put 32 D1 schools at 16 team tourneys. I prefer team duals like this even to Midlands and the Scuffle.

Theoretically you could get a Minny v Boise State or Michigan first round, damn. Although count on Minnesota getting even a tougher draw since they lost to both Nebraska and Oklahoma State since the last polls.

I figure Indiana will go 2 and out -that eases my suffering knowing Hernandez will only lose twice . although he hasn't lost a dual yet it's because IU hasn't wrestled anyone -i thought he had a bad year last year because he was cutting too much -now I don't know -he's gotten worse every year that he's been at IU .
    Freshman -27-10
    soph------30-16
    Junior-----20-13
    Senior ----12-4 1-4 in 2 tournaments

Who posts the brackets? NWCA or the Northern Iowa athletic department?

I imagine they will be posted in both places, but I bet the NWCA has them up first.

You will be able to find the brackets on InterMat and on the UNI Website.
