You won't see falck until at least the semi's. It will be JJ Krutsinger for Iowa at 125

I would think that would be the case as well.

From what I am hearing on the ISU board, Burk may be worse than I thought. I guess even if guys do wrestle, if they are banged up, I could be off on my predictions, too.

And I do think Ward can beat Kerber, but he is a tough SOB.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Arnone as I understand it is injured and probably done for the yeaR? Simaz is no slouch though so I dont know if varner will get bonus there or not (possible).

Yea but I don't think little clark beats 133 Haas
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

First half of the first round...

    Iowa v. Wyoming
125: Martinez dec Krutsinger 3-0 Wyoming
    133: Dennis dec VomBaur 3-3
141: Tsirtsis maj Dallaserra 7-3 Iowa
149: Metcalf fall Smith 13-3 Iowa
157: Ballweg dec Davis 16-3 Iowa
165: Morningstar dec Reider 19-3 Iowa
174: Borschel dec Onufer 22-3 Iowa
184: Keddy dec LeBlanc 25-3 Iowa
197: Beatty dec Hernandez 28-3 Iowa
285: Erekson maj Scharbrough 32-3 Iowa

Iowa 32 Wyoming 3: And this would likely be a whitewash if Falck was healthy and Brands wanted it to be. Just a tough match up for Wyoming as their two best guys wrestle Borschel and Keddy. Gap could be bigger as I probably left some possible bonus on the table for Iowa.

    Minnesota v. Buffalo
125: Sanders maj Bishop 4-0 Minnesota
133: Ness fall Smith 10-0 Minnesota
141: Thorn dec Lewandowski 13-0 Minnesota
149: Green dec Peterson 13-3 Minnesota
    157: Safratowich maj Martin-Cannon 17-3 Minnesota
165: Everson dec Majerus 20-3 Minnesota
174: Young dec Rock 23-3 Minnesota
184: Yohn dec Moran 26-3 Minnesota
197: Hamel dec Bierschenk 26-6 Minnesota
285: Berhow dec Correll 29-6 Minnesota

Minnesota 29 Buffalo 6: Like Iowa, Minnesota should roll here pretty handily. I gave Buffalo the win at 49 as Green has seemingly wrestled decently this year, and at 97 (although if McPhail wrestles I might swing that back to Minnesota). They've also got a shot possibly at 84 if Yohn doesn't bring his gas but I think he does.

    Missouri v. Penn State
125: Pataky dec Dolan: 3-0 Penn State
133: Strayer dec Schavrien 6-0 Penn State
141: Hoehn dec Molinaro 6-3 Penn State
149: Jenkins maj Sherry 10-3 Penn State
157: Vallimont dec Chandler 13-3 Penn State
165: Marable dec Friend 13-6 Penn State
174: Jordan dec Wright 13-9 Penn State
184: Henderson dec Decker 13-12 Penn State
197: Askren fall Steadman 18-13 Missouri
285: Ellis maj Wade 22-13 Missouri

Missouri 22 Penn State 13: Interesting how polarized this dual is between the two halves. Penn State could easily win all of the first five weights, although as can be seen I think Hoehn beats Molinaro. Their weekness up top though is what'll do them in. Askren and Ellis pinning out if need be is certainly there as a possibility.

    Nebraska v. Northwestern
125: Precin maj Pokorny 4-0 Northwestern
133: Aleksanyan dec Joyce 4-3 Northwestern
141: Sulzer dec Burns 7-3 Northwestern
149: Hacker dec Nadhir 7-6 Northwestern
157: Burroughs dec Welch 9-7 Nebraska
165: Dwyer dec Marella 12-7 Nebraska
174: Browne dec Kellogg 15-7 Nebraska
184: Herbert fall Jones 15-13 Nebraska
197: Brester fall Schoen 21-13 Nebraska
285: Lane dec Kuhar 24-13 Nebraska

Nebraska 24 Northwestern 13: As with most of the opponents that they face this year Nebraska is just so good from 157-285 that any of their deficiencies down low can be covered up. I went back and forth as to whether or not I thought Burroughs could major Welch. I think that match winds up something like 9-3 Burroughs or something like that.

Good stuff Jensen I do see Chandler beating Vallimont instead though.

I think thats a definite possibility as well. That'll kind of depend on whether the good Vallimont or the bad Vallimont shows up.

    Second half...

    Cornell v. Michigan
125: Watts dec Perrelli 3-0 Michigan
133: Grey maj Stevens 4-3 Cornell
141: Russell maj Manson 6-4 Michigan
149: Meagher dec Weber 7-6 Cornell
157: Leen maj Hynes 11-6 Cornell
165: Lewnes maj Zeerip 15-6 Cornell
174: Luke dec Anceravage 15-9 Cornell
184: Biondo dec Kerber 15-12 Cornell
    197: Todd dec Arnone 15-15
285: Hammond dec Bleske 18-15 Cornell

Cornell 18 Michigan 15: Michigan matches up surprisingly well here. This however does seem to be their absolute best case scenario, its possible that Perrelli could beat Watts, and that Kerber could beat Biondo, then its also possible for more points to come from Grey, Leen, and Lewnes. Its also possible though for Michigan to possibly get more points from Russell, and from Todd if he wrestles.

    Ohio State v. Northern Iowa
125: Triggas dec Flores 3-0 Ohio State
133: Humphrey dec Baldridge 6-0 Ohio State
141: Jaggers dec Zempel 9-0 Ohio State
149: Palmer maj Ettelson 13-0 Ohio State
157: Johnstone dec Kittleson 16-0 Ohio State
165: Fay dec Sponseller 16-3 Ohio State
174: Rella dec Beets 19-3 Ohio State
184: Pucillo dec Dolly 22-3 Ohio State
197: Anderson dec Gardner 22-6 Ohio State
285: Brantley dec Morrison 22-9 Ohio State

Ohio State 22 Northern Iowa 9: This turned out kind of interesting and I actually think that this may wind up closer than this prediction here. Flores has a shot at Triggas although if Triggas gets working on top Flores will be in trouble. If Washington and Reiner wrestle I think they have a shot at Jaggers and Johnstone. Then at 65 I'll be rooting for Sponseller, but I think Fay probably wins in a much lower scoring match than the one they had at the All Star.

    Wisconsin v. Boise State
125: Bartelli dec Hammen 3-0 Boise State
133: Hochstrasser fall Kelliher 9-0 Boise State
141: Tanelli dec Hutchinson 9-3 Boise State
149: Ruschell dec Chamberlain 9-6 Boise State
157: Hall maj Jordan 13-6 Boise State
165: Howe dec Sherfey 13-9 Boise State
174: Lee dec Rutt 16-9 Boise State
184: Smith maj Bugenhagen 20-9 Boise State
197: Herbst fall Allen 20-15 Boise State
285: Massey dec Smith 20-18 Boise State

Boise State 20 Wisconsin 18: This one has the possibility of being very, very close. If it goes like I have it here, Massey is fully able to pin at heavyweight to swing it to Wisconsin. If Boise doesn't pick up enough in the way of bonus to account for Herbst's likely pin then they'll be in trouble as well.

    Iowa State v. Indiana
125: Escobedo dec Clark 3-0 Indiana
133: Fanthorpe maj Ortega 4-3 Iowa State
141: Gallick dec Hernandez 7-3 Iowa State
149: Mueller dec Walpole 10-3 Iowa State
157: Sanderson dec Coughlin 13-3 Iowa State
165: Reader dec Young 16-3 Iowa State
174: Perry fall Pursel 16-9 Iowa State
184: Ward dec Cameron 19-9 Iowa State
197: Varner fall Kuhn 25-9 Iowa State
285: Zabriskie dec Everhart 28-9 Iowa State

Iowa State 28 Indiana 9: Indiana has a shot maybe at 149 as Walpole seems to be a guy who has big moves so if he can catch Mueller with one maybe he can get a W there. I'm assuming Burk is out, and if he is I think Perry probably catches his replacement with his headlock. Reader and Zabriskie may get more for Iowa State

If it comes down to Massey in the final match against Smith at Boise State, I think he can pin him if he had to.

Reiner will be in at 157 for UNI. He will definitely give Johnstone a go.
    UNI Panthers...Because it's just right.
