Based ONLY on their results against each other and other competitiors in freestyle competition:
    Escobedo
Scott for right now (lots of good freestylers here, I think Oliver will be the best when he's done)
Moore by default (don't think the others have done much freestyle)
Metcalf (if Caldwell's shoulder holds up he has a shot)
Paulson for now, but I think Burroughs will pass him.
    Howe
    Askren
    Herbert
    Varner
    Konrad

125 Nickerson if he's healthy. If not, McDonough.

133 Ness or Oliver. I think Oliver has a higher ceiling but Ness was pretty damn good his last year. I'll go with Ness, but ask me in a few years and I'll probably say Oliver

141 Dake, Dake, He's our man!

149 Metcalf. Most dominant wrestler in the last decade.

157 Trent Paulson. Not particularly dominant but very good and rarely in trouble except when wrestling a certain freshman named Ryan from Iowa.

165 Perry funks his way to a win over Burroughs, in my head. Perry would probably lose to him in a dual situation but come tournament time he gets her done.

174 As much as I hate to pick against Borschel, I've gotta take Askren. Can't stand him but he was a great wrestler.

184 Herbert and it's not even close

197 Varnish. He'd score a takedown and an escape against all of those guys and win every match.

HWT King Cole. He's in a different class then the rest of those guys as well.

    133-Oliver, Valenti, Ness, Scott, Gomez
141-Moore(TF in the finals what!?) Jaggers, Russell, Dake
    149-Caldwell, Metcalf, Dake, Gillespie
157-Burroughs, Paulson, Leen, Bubba, JP O
    165-Burroughs, Perry, Howe, King
    174-Askren, Borschel, Luke, Reader, Gavin

197-Jake Varner, Phil Davis, Josh Glenn, Dustin Kilgore
285-Cole Konrad, Zach Rey, Dustin Fox, David Zabriskie, Mark Ellis

Herkey: I can't wrap my mind around why you'd choose dake of last year as the best. Try to get this year out of your mind and think back to how good the other guys were against tougher fields.

Perry could hardly funk Hendricks and Marable. What do you think Burroughs does to him? No funk for a double leg.

At this point I just cant pick against Dake unless the other option is Metcalf.

No double leg for the funkmaster scrambler. Did Perry beat Hendricks and Marable?
