Imagine how bad things would be if Sanderson were still coach there.

I've read that Sorenson is having elbow issues and KJ made him and Spangler wrestle off twice last week with Spangler winning both matches. That's just internet rumor and I don't mind spreading it.

If true I don't like the decision. Iowa State is not even close to being in the team hunt, so why not let the guy that earned the spot and top ten ranking compete and see what he can do even if he is a little banged up. If he's healthy enough to have a wrestle off, then I'd say he's healthy enough to wrestle in the tournament.

I like KJ. He gets me jacked up about Iowa State wrestling, which is hard to do. But I would have to question his thought process if this is indeed the case.

I should point out that Sorenson wrestled for a school that is in my old high school conference so I'm a little bias, but I also genuinely believe he's earned the right to wrestle this year. He's been very tough this year.

Morrison just got knocked off by Klingsheim, what happened with Waters?

Waters caught Patterson stepping over his whizzer, threw him to his back and held him there with one leg and one arm for at least 5 seconds, Patterson couldn't move off his back, but the ref gave Waters no takedown, and no backpoints. Smith was livid. Unbelievable how badly he's been screwed twice now against Patterson. Disgusting.

Patterson/Klingsheim definitely isn't the final that people saw when forecasting this tournament.

Oliver keeps things a little more conventional by moving to the finals by first period fall.

Can't believe Waters' luck. Now he has to beat Morrison for 3rd. That was a terrible hose job. Did anyone else see it, am I exaggerating?
