That rules out everything except gut feelings and talking out of your butt. You didn't really mean that did you?

Because thats what everyone is suggesting...? Youre a bit of a drama queen chop. People have opinions. Some people use past results to reinforce those opinions. Nobody has said anything as definitive as you would suggest they were saying.

So, if that happens then Taylor could lose to Fittery in the semis. It would be unfortunate in my opinion since they have been the most impressive wrestlers at 157 by far this season, but you have to seed consistently and objectively.

I'm vacillating back and forth between picking Fittery or Taylor to win the title, and I'm sure I won't decide until after seeing them at conferences, though neither one will be challenged on their current trajectory.
Hadn't thought about the seeding in thatlight but that is a good point & for me personally, it fits that gut feeling I have had all year that DT would lose in the semis. Now I think I know why.

Check out comparing DT & SF's common opponents. It's a transitive property orgy....

DT has beaten more highly ranked opponents.

Fittery has destroyed his opponents similar to DT, but with more pins.

    Johnny Greisheimer (Edinboro)
    DT MD 25-12
    SF MD 17-8

    Donnie Tasser (Pittsburgh)
    DT TF 26-11
    SF TF 15-0

    Alex Elder (Oregon State)
    DT TF 18-2
    SF TF 20-3

    Sean Bilodeau (Lehigh)
    Both by Fall

    Cocozzo (Rutgers)
    DT MD 13-3
    SF D 6-3

    Frank Hickman (Bloomsburg)
    DT TF 20-5
    SF D 9-4

    Top wins
    (using TOM's current rankings)

DT over 4,5,6,8,9 all by MD except 4.
    SF over 13,14
