Whatever Vegas does =Reno must do-it may not be on as grand a scale but there it is none the less -might be a competitive thing between guys whose name ends in vowels -I don't know .

What is the point of having teams travel twice to Nevada to take on the same teams in two consecutive weeks?
    Brother FatGuy,
While it may be a tough flight/drive to Reno, it can't compare to our trip from SF to Boise in 82. Remember weighing in at some Reno high school and then stuffing ourselves on greasy casino buffet food? Remember the vans sliding around on the black ice on the road between Reno and Boise, and eventually crashing on the side of the road and one van ending up in a ditch and the other upside down? It was a miracle that no one was killed! And yet, we somehow pulled into our motel in Meridian ID at 5:00 AM got 2 hours of sleep and were at the tournament warming up at 8:00! THAT was a tough road trip! As an aside, I still chuckle remembering you referring to my finals opponent as "a refrigerator with a head"!
Mojo the only reason I would go to Reno is to not let all of those other coaches near the star recruits at the High School Tourney. I would use this as an opportunity to recruit some of these kids. I went to the Cal-Vs-Stanford game with Andrew and Tim both are now firemen. Tim does not drink anymore (good thing) so he drove. We never made it into the game we went to pregame party with all of the ex-Cal players and went home when the beer ran out. Unfortunately I resemble a refridgerator with a head now. Wished you were here I told them both I've heard from you.
and they wish you their best. I tell everyone Andrew Steffen is one of a very few wrestlers to have a winning record against Darryl Pope 3-2.

Never thought anyone had a winning record against Pope -he was my all time favorite colege wrestler -just an animal.
