Phenomenal pick up by the Wolverines. Leaves Chris Perry as the only member of the top 5 not committed yet.

Funny, his dad was talking in the stands last year about how Cornell wasn't a good enough school academically for his boy, and now he is sending him to a state school?
Just kidding Michigan people, I know that it's a phenomenal school. I only am saying that because his dad was a grade-A DB at NCAAs.
Being a top 10 Greco man, It wouldn't surprise me to see him pull a Dietchler and head a bit North. Just a feeling..........
I'm glad to see him in the Big 10. I look forward to Moore/Grajales editions 2, 3, 4 & 5.
I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this choice. Great for him and his family.
Good choice, I still regret not going to Michigan
"Now class, I'd like for you to transition from downward dog....straight to FULL BRING!!!"
Mac and Trost had to pay attention to the lower weights and quickly. Diehl is gone (military) and Zac Stevens, who will be very good someday but is nonetheless a true frosh, will have to step up a class to fill in. For a while I thought he'd follow his bro, but this is an excellent pickup and will give a nice boost to the upcoming recruiting year class.
BTW word is Homer decided against UM when he found out they don't drill the knee tap and dresser dump![]()

Haha, you nailed it Shammy. I liked McFarland and Trost a lot, but just wanted to "stay close to home".

I figured that once Jones left Penn, that was going to be a deal breaker for Eric even with his brother there. No offense at all to Eiter.
I hear Erik is a super smart kid and thought he'd look at Cornell harder than he may have. But if what BS is stating is indeed Mr. G's feeling about the University, well, one, he's obviously extremely misinformed and two, getting a year of practice with Nickerdoodles and even more with Grey, Frey, Cooperman and others isn't going to hurt anyone. Then again, you have Big 11 wrestling, Russell, Stevens and other recruits. 125 and 133 were not exactly strong points for the Wolverines last season and certainly were spots that needed a whole lot of attention and fast.
I also figured he might look at Columbia, but after Washington and Valenti, who would he practice with?
