Larry Owings, former University of Washington wrestler best known as The Man Who Beat Gable, has been the subject of many articles, interviews and even a book. But there hasn't been a film made about him -- yet.

Adam Anderson seeks to remedy that oversight... by making a definitive documentary about the three-time NCAA finalist who handed Dan Gable of Iowa State his only loss in high school and college, winning the 142-pound title at the 1970 NCAAs.

Now Anderson -- who wrestled at Former wrestler seeking materials for planned Larry Owings documentary-1970-ncaa-larry-owings-dan-gable-ap-photo.jpg in the late 1990s, just as the Ohio-based school eliminated its wrestling program -- is seeking information to help him put together a film about Larry Owings.
