125: Zach Sanders v. John Deneen
133: Thane Antczak or Jayson Ness v. Daryl Thomas
141: Mike Thorn v. Vince Vercelli or Ryan Prater
149: Mario Mason v. Eric Terrazas
157: Dustin Schlatter v. Conrad Polz or Clint Arliss
165: Cody Yohn v. Conrad Polz or Joe Barczak
174: Scott Glasser v. Jordan Blanton
184: Kaleb Young v. John Dergo
197: Sonny Yohn v. Patrick Bond
285: Ben Berhow v. Patrick Walker

Will be most interested to see Dustin continue to wrestle down at 157 and to see the marquee match up at 174 between Glasser and Blanton.

In his match against Roddy that was on Big 10 Network yesterday (Blanton won 13-10) he looked aggressive and tough like he always does but he doesn't appear to have progressed as much technically as some people (myself very much included) expected him to.

I think Glasser as well as he's been wrestling wins a decently comfortable decision, something like 10-4.

Yeah, Blanton never stops trying crazy moves - incredibly fun to watch but gets himself into trouble quite a bit.

I hate to get too negative, but Conrad Polz probably gets the reward for "most overhyped freshman" so far this year. The decision to cut down in the middle of the year obviously hasn't helped but he hasn't put up very impressive wins so far...

This actually may be a close match-149,165,174,184,197, are all toss ups and if Ness doesn't wrestle 133 may be as well.
Blanton beat Perry , (8-3), Hinton(10-7) and Roddy (13-10) , not exactly dominating the weaker 1/2 of 174. Polz looks much more comfortable at 165 than 157 .
It would be nice to see Ness wrestle .

People are saying on themat that Ness actually has herniated disks in his back, and is out at least until Big 10's, and possibly the whole season. I hope to God this is completely untrue.

I don't think 184 will be a tossup, like Dergo to win comfortably

People are saying elsewhere on other boards that laguna is completely wrong.

    I agree, 84 isn't a toss up.

Like I said on the "new board" - no matter what I'm sure it'll be endless speculation since MN doesn't talk too much about team/wrestler/injury issues.
