    Nick Fanthorpe v. Mike Grey

1st Period: Grey locks on a front headlock from the feet to start off the match here, Fanthorpe works out. Single leg attempt by Grey, Fanthorpe sprawls but Grey works his way back up to his feet without any trouble. Fanthorpe reaching for a single leg now, Grey defends it well. Little shot reshot action by Grey but Fanthorpe keeps him out in front with his head hands, deeper shot now by Grey but Fanthorpe sprawls out and away, 1 minute to go...another shot by Grey, Fanthorpe circles away and drops on a reshot, Grey tries to funk it but Fanthorpe drops his hips on top as Grey tries to roll him and picks up 2 and 2 more...4-0 Fanthorpe. Fanthorpe gets high, Grey reaches up and peels him off, nearly comes around for the reversal but Fanthorpe reswitches and keeps control as the period ends.

2nd Period: Fanthorpe starts down...tripods up...reaches back for a whizzer and circles his hips away for the escape...5-0 Fanthorpe. Fanthorpe tripods up, Grey drops to a leg, Fanthorpe circles his hips square but Grey still has his leg, Fanthorpe breaks the grip and is awarded 1 as they go out...6-2 Fanthorpe with :29 to go in the period. 3rd Period: Grey starts down. Immediately goes to switch off the whistle, but Fanthorpe does a nice job dropping down to the legs as Grey tried to come aorund and going with him. Grey reaches up and grabs the head, sits out and comes out the back door for the escape...6-3 Fanthorpe. Grey working with a front headlock on the edge but they go out with 1:12 to go. Was a great job by Nickerson looking for the backs immediately off the takedown. Long impressed me as well by fighting off his back as long as he did.

    Dalton Jensen v. Kyle Dake

1st Period: Dake not rocking the tape job that he's had on his left leg for the majority of the year. Shot attempt by Jensen, Dake works into a front headlock but Jensen defends well. Both guys working from very low stances. Dake in on a super duck, works up to a body lock and finishes down for the TD...2-0 Dake. Dake transitions immediately to the spiral and claw that he likes as he works from the top. Jensen looking to switch around, has his hips out but Dake does a great job following around and finishes back down to the mat. Period ends 2-0 Dake.

2nd Period: Jensen starts down. Dake trying to sneak in a cheap tilt early in the period as Jensen tries to scramble his hips away. Dake now sticks a boot in, and now back to trying to go cheap tilt with his claw and spiral. Dake puts his boots in again, trying for a power half but gets stalemated. :25 to go on the restart. Jensen continues to try and sit and work his hips away, Dake continues to do a nice job following and rides the period out. Still leads 2-0.

3rd Period: Riding time for Dake is clinched, he's starting down...Jensen working with a claw and spiral of his own now. Dake just maintaining a base, looking for an opening, Dake now tripods up...and hits a nice standing switch on the edge as Jensen appeared to relax in anticipation of going out...4-0 Dake with 1:17 to go, and Dake cuts off the restart...4-1 Dake. Jensen tries a throw by on the feet, shot attempt by Jensen on the edge they go out with 14 seconds to go. Nice duck under by Dake off the whistle, and transitions over to the back with his claw and tight waist, but doesn't get any backs as the match ends.

Kyle Dake dec Dalton Jensen 7-1

    9-3 Cornell

Grey really has to start winning these matches if he wants people to take him more seriously.
