Yeah I'm not so sure about that. Don't get me wrong, i love Varner, he's one of the many tough guys that the Golden State produces, year in and year out, but the Russian may have some tricks up his sleeve. I look for Varner to exploit the disparity in ability on the mat. The take down battle I expect to be close.

I think this is pretty accurate, but I'll add that the russian has noooo gas tank. He tanks in the 3rd period of most of his matches, and I have a feeling he will do that here.

I don't see a tech happening. Varner doesn't tech many people, and Gelogaev should be a formidable opponent for at least the first period. Even after that, he shouldn't be helpless unless he's trapped on bottom for 4 minutes. I could see a pin, but a tech?

varner doesnt care about beating people bad or scoring big points for his team..he'l beat him by 5 or so but it wont have been that close. Gelogaev will never be close to a td.
