Then why did you trade for him ?? I think Porter is a very poor wrestler -but I will use him against some weak comp-and he should score points -why trade for a guy you are afraid to wrestle .

    Sanders v. Wisdom 4-0 Minny
    Ness v. McCormick 10-0 Minny
    Thorn v. Schavrien 13-0 Minny
    Zilverberg v. Wiest 16-0 Minny
    Mellmer v. Wright 16-3 Minny
    Schlatter v. Marable 16-6 Minny
    Glasser v. Henderson 16-9 Minny
    Young v. Askren 16-13 Minny
    Yohn v. Haynes 16-16
    Berhow v. Bradley/Ellis 19-16 Mizzou

If Marable wins, Mizzou will beat Minny.

Its a definite possibility, especially if MAson and Deitchler remain out. But you have to favor Minnesota, as the only match in which Missouri is a significant favorite is 184 (I guess heavy as well).

65, 74, 97, 57, all have to be considered tossups at this point. I think Marable wins 65 but Minny will definitely take at least one of the other three
    Gold is an idiot.

Henderson, Haynes, and Wright have all been ranked in the top 20 all year. Steadily moving up, I might add. To say that Glasser, Yohn, and whoever are all toss-ups is extremely optimistic. You might win one though. Askren needs bonus to counter 6 for Ness. A good showing from Schavrien would be nice. A lot of people seem to be looking right past Mizzou. I hope Minny is too.

    First Round Matches:
    Iowa vs. Nebraska
    Buffalo vs. Boise State
    Minnesota vs. Mizzou
    Northwestern vs. Central Michigan
    Ohio State vs. Arizona State
    Wisconsin vs. Cornell
    Maryland vs. UNI
    Bloomsburg vs. Iowa State

Looks like Minny vs. Mizzou is the best first round match. If things go as expected, tOSU vs. Cornell, Minny vs. CMU, and Maryland vs. ISU should all be interesting second round duals.
Going to have to work to get the epically long predictions that I like to do out by the beginning of the tournament.

May try and get through at least the first round tonight.

    Minnesota vs Missouri (first round)

Sanders vs. Wisdom - Sanders will put on a show here with at least a major 4-0 Min
Ness v. McCormick - Ness will pin 10-0 Min
Thorn v. Schavrien - Thorn is good enough to pin him...but won't 13-0 Min
Zilverberg v. Wiest - Saw good things from Zilver last week. 16-0 Min
Mellmer v. Wright - Mellmer is a fighter keeps it to major 16 - 4 Min
Schlatter v. Marable - Schlatter can and will win this one 19 - 4 Min
    Glasser v. Henderson - Glasser is on fire 22 - 4 Min
Young v. Askren - Askren easy win, MN should use backup 22-10 Min
Yohn v. Haynes - Toss up goes to Missou this time 22 - 13 Min
Berhow v. Bradley - Missou has this one, Nord can wrestle this one? 22-19 Min

Missouri can win this one, but its probably gonna take a Marable win, a Henderson win, AND a Askren pin.
