That's awesome. One year after Arkansas had their inaugural state high school championships they now have sponsorship on the collegiate level. Wrestling has now grown in TX, AR, and GA at the collegiate level in the last few months. Great job also by the AR Wrestling Association. Even though it has not been Division 1, great job by people in those areas of growing the sport.

I'm glad to see you didn't write the article, Jason... in the first paragraph, it is announced that the school is launching a men's WRESTING program. (Then again, nobody's perfect.)

Typo aside, it's always wonderful to see new college wrestling program launched, especially the first one in Arkansas. Congrats to Ouachita Baptist -- welcome to the wrestling family!

Touche, Jacob! I should've kept my mouth shut. ;-(

FYI to all -- I wanted to learn more about the school, including how to pronounce the name. According to the university website, it's Wash' uh tah.

haha, all in good fun! You could always argue that you're writing on a forum and not an official press release.

On topic- great to see the advancements Arkansas is making so quickly. Maybe we'll see wrestling at one of the D1 schools soon.
