If you follow rankings these are out and kinda funny . If your guy did not wrestle over the weekend he probably dropped whereas the Novachov brothers jumped 10-12 spots each-Boris #7 and Filip #4??-ESCO #1 and Parrelli #9-TNICK off the radar ,Everhart at #5...I am sure someone will post a link...

Nickerson has yet to compete this year and Earl dropped all inactive wrestlers from the rankings this week. If he steps on the mat I'm sure he'll be back in the rankings

Novochkov up, Deshazer big drop, Fanthorpe & Oliver small drops. B10 has 3 guys in the top 10, B12, P10, MAC all have 2 in the top 10.

Molinaro #5 & Ruschel #2 both beat Peppleman #16 by similar scores, (Molinaro @ S & B, Ruschell @ CKI) but then LeValley #8 DESTORYED Peppleman in the WBs @ CKI. LeValley lost by one point to Metcalf #1. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

B10 has 4 guys in the top 5!

Burroughs lost due to med default @ CKI but didn't drop. Pami did. Sanderson & Moley moved up. O'Connor I think is definitely the #2 guy having watched him beat Hall this weekend & having beat Sanderson @ the S & B.

The NCAA does not have the old ''wild card '' formula they give out a few but they use a new system . Last year there were 3-4 weight classes where a guy did not have to wrestle in the big 5 tournament and were still eligible .Kinda took all the drama out of the big 5 tournament .

Maybe just a coincedence, but Schavrien has finished first in every tournament this year. Ahead of #4 Novachkov, #8 Parks, and #10 Nauman. Good thing NCAA's is a tourney. His dual meet losses sure influence his ranking.

Not true. You must wrestle in conference tournament to go to the big dance.

I'm pretty sure they sent invites before the tournament to all 165's.97' and heavies last year -we had a thread about that very topic last year-I don't care enough to look it up.
